DMX is an American artist, songwriter and actor. He began rapping at the turn of the century. His debut album was released on 19 May, 1998. He released several albums, like... and Then There Was X and Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. The album, titled ... and Then There Was X was also nominated for an Grammy in the Best Rap Album category in 2001. He has also appeared in movies such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five and Exit Wounds. The Bleeding Romeo to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.

She has won numerous awards for her roles as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively as Claudia Shepard and Layla Grant in Nashville (2012).
